omg. There, now that that is out of the way. I can get on with this whole blogging thing. Which i may or may not keep up on. Because as you probably know, I'm an ego-maniac. Thus, unless you shower me with praise, or at the very least comment, regularly read, and discuss my blog; i will cease to do it.
That said, the motivation for creating this blog is two-fold. First; i was about to send out an e-mail to a few friends about some music (see following post) and figured it would be more productive to have them visit my blog for said info. Second; i sit at work all day and listen to NPR (mmm brain food, or brain washing depending on how conservative you are.) and when I come home from work i always have something to say about some happening around the globe, but no one to talk to. Since I'm not a doctor (more specifically a PhD.) yet i don't have a group of mind-starved students to talk at for an hour, so I'll blog instead.
Also I can utilize my blog to keep in touch with blah blah blah.
So read on, and listen to me rant (at least one posting ... perhaps more).
